This wasn’t our first time buying a home so while we had some prior experience and expectations, we did so during a very unique and challenging time. We started the process right at the start of COVID-19 (Feb 2020) and were hit with an endless series of challenges.Being a military family, I found myself in VA trying to buy a house while my wife was in another state trying to sell our old one. Because of these restrictions I never was able to travel back to assist in the selling nor could my family travel down to see new homes.Every step of the way Maura was always within reach going above and beyond helping us. She made time to ensure my wife and I knew everything, scheduled our appointments and navigated the constantly changing rules due to COVID.Maura was and is one of the hardest working, most knowledgeable and motivated people I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with!

This property has been a real challenge. We had it listed elsewhere, which was a waste of time and energy, and we allowed listing to expire. Maura had contacted us before above ran out. We (luckily) decided to contact her. It has been a long difficult slog, but Maura was undaunted. She pushed ahead with multiple open houses and cast a net far and wide. Finally she was able to get us connected with a buyer. This community has also had multiple other properties for sale. To give an idea of the situation, this is a gated community of 125 single-family residences and most of the time there have been ten or more homes listed for sale. Many of them dropped out of the market and then came back and relisted. Very few sold and there are at present a number of the same properties still for sale. We were into our fourth year when Maura was finally able to get us a buyer. It was only her dogged persistence and professional skill that got our property off the market. We now count her as a personal friend.
